Arbeitsschutz Aktuell 2020 will take place

The German federal states have agreed on 17 June 2020 that mass events generally will stay prohibited until 31 October 2020. This concerns for example folk- and street-festivals and other public events of such kind. This directive does not apply to trade fairs such as Arbeitsschutz Aktuell. This was determined by the agreement of the federal states 6 May 2020. Additionally, this agreement specified that with immediate effect the states may decide on their own authority about the permission of trade fairs.

Since 23 June 2020, the decision has been in place for Baden-Württemberg that larger trade fairs may take place again from 1 September. The basis for this is the draft ordinance of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Economics for the containment of transmissions of the corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) in trade fairs (“Corona-Verordnung Messen - CoronaVO Messen”).

With a comprehensive safety and hygiene concept, which was drawn up together with Landesmesse Stuttgart and has already been approved by the Local Authority, we are creating the conditions on the Stuttgart Exhibition Grounds to ensure that you can visit Arbeitsschutz Aktuell corona-safe. This means that Arbeitsschutz Aktuell will take place in a slightly different setting, but at last personal talks and discussions will once again be possible. Your contributions are important for the appropriate further development of our specialist area.
